Apple & Pear Rice mix
Try this easy to make and tasty mix for your little ones to start with their semi solids.
Ingredients:
- 1 apple (peeled and chopped)
- 1 pear (peeled and chopped)
- 1 tbsp cooked rice
- cinnamon (a sprinkle)
Method:
- Place the apple in a steamer and cook for 4 minutes
- Then add the pear and cook for an additional 4 minutes or until the fruit is tender
- Add the fruit to a blender together with a pinch of cinnamon, the cooked rice and 2 tablespoons of the cooking liquid and blend together to form a puree
