Apple & Pear Rice mix


Try this easy to make and tasty mix for your little ones to start with their semi solids.

Ingredients:


  • 1 apple (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 pear (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 tbsp cooked rice
  • cinnamon (a sprinkle)

Method:

  1. Place the apple in a steamer and cook for 4 minutes
  2. Then add the pear and cook for an additional 4 minutes or until the fruit is tender
  3. Add the fruit to a blender together with a pinch of cinnamon, the cooked rice and 2 tablespoons of the cooking liquid and blend together to form a puree
